Well, yes me saying NO definitely hurts.
But you know what hurts more?
Lies, manipulation, twisting situations, making someone feel guilty because you know they will feel it easily. Talking about being able to say everything with closed ones and being guarded for your own damn feelings.
Telling them that it’s all in their head, they are the ones overthinking every situation and their gut feeling is just an illusion or bloody imagination. Because otherwise, you will have to tell the truth.
You know it also hurts when someone acts like they care and then they don’t.
Yes, it will hurt when I will treat you the same in return. Because unlike others I prefer not to be a sweetener.
So, it is going to hurt. It is ugly truth without any sugar on it. It will bite you and it will bleed.
Unlike sweeteners, she won’t wrap her words in sugar-coated, calculated words because she intends to be loyal. She doesn’t like using people, especially the ones she claims to love.
