Ready to be a Wife?
All dolled up, ready to be someone’s wife.
Here comes the bride.
She is very lucky, a voice came from the side
How lucky! Spoke the inner voice.
The dress, the event, praises -everything is perfect, what else do you want?
Said someone from hide.
Women are never happy — people are right.
But she left a career just to be a wife?
Why educate if it’s not useful for the bride?
To teach the kids and be on their side.
Okay, but she isn’t allowed to decide.
“Oh, you women all are the same.
You don’t know what it takes to earn to be an expert in life.
You don’t know, still, all you do is fight.
You are just useless and nothing but a pain in disguise.”
Ashamed of herself, she hides.
Blames herself for not seeing anything right.
Forgot that she tried,
But never had a full insight.
She failed and decides to stay quite.
